Use Recoheat with confidence

View your home

1. Open Recoheat to see your default home. Use the home name menu to switch home or create another when your account permits it.
2. Use the prominent Floor control to move between floors. Selecting a room in viewing mode opens its detail without entering editing.
3. Choose Air profile to colour room readings by condition. Green is healthy, amber needs attention and red needs action.
4. Use the compact table icon for exact room values. Return to Model view for the spatial picture.

A warning reflects the least healthy current room reading. Open Air profile or Table view to identify the room and measurement responsible.

Create a home

1. Choose the property form, number of floors and bedrooms. Recoheat selects the matching architecture template directly.
2. Choose Central heating and its fuel, or choose Other to add heating later. Saved templates contain architecture only.
3. Name the home and create it. The new model opens in the shared editor.
4. Connect an existing Home Assistant account now, later, or from the editing suite.

Edit structure and contents

1. Select Edit, then choose Structure or Contents.
2. Select the target directly in the model. The toolkit changes to the tasks available for that target.
3. Use drag controls for direct changes or Settings for exact values. Sensors expose vertical position; other objects start on the floor.
4. A highlighted save control means that target has unsaved work. Green means its changes are saved.

Add rooms and floors

1. In Structure mode, choose Add room and select External extension or Internal room.
2. For an extension, choose the existing room and outside wall, then set the new room dimensions, storeys and joining opening.
3. Windows, outside doors and vents covered by the extension move to the corresponding new outside wall automatically. Adjust or remove them afterward if required.
4. For an internal room, choose the room and wall to divide. Move any object that crosses the proposed dividing line before completing the split.
5. Shared walls and openings are saved atomically so airflow and heat-flow paths are recalculated from one consistent plan.

Connect sensors and Home Assistant

1. Open monitor setup or Integrate existing Home Assistant account.
2. Authorise the existing Home Assistant instance. Recoheat imports permitted device data; it does not transfer device ownership between Home Assistant instances.
3. Map each available entity to the correct home, room and measurement.
4. Check Air profile or Table view for the reading source and latest condition.

Run a heating simulation

1. Open Simulation and set starting indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, target temperature and duration.
2. Review heat-source output, efficiency, radiator provision and valve opening; these determine the useful heat delivered.
3. Run the model. Playback advances in five-minute model increments and the settings panel closes on compact screens.
4. Review room temperature, airflow, heat loss, fuel use and estimated daily cost. Edit unit fuel prices in the report when your tariff differs from the default.

A simulation is a decision aid, not an energy certificate or a substitute for a heating engineer’s calculation.

Share or hand over a home

1. Open the account menu and choose Share this home.
2. Choose View, Edit or Manage access and the exact data scopes to share.
3. The recipient receives an expiring, single-use invitation and must sign in and consent.
4. Owners can remove active access or cancel a pending invitation. A Customer handover is separate: it transfers ownership only after explicit acceptance.
