Do my monitors have to be AirGradient?

No. You can use monitors from any brand through compatible Home Assistant integrations. In either case, recoheat.app uses AirGradient’s system to manage the air-quality monitoring. AirGradient hardware is an option if you want published testing and accuracy evidence; that verification does not extend to other manufacturers’ monitors.

Do I need sensors to get started?

No. Start by modelling your home and exploring scenarios. Connect supported sensors later if you want to bring measured indoor conditions into your model.

Can I monitor and control every electrical device?

Home Assistant can monitor and control compatible devices, including supported heating controls, smart plugs, lighting and appliances. Capabilities vary by device and integration. recoheat.app uses its supported connections to bring readings into your home model; it does not automatically provide control of every device from within the app.

How detailed is the financial modelling?

Compare estimated heating costs using fuel prices, heating settings and efficiency assumptions. Update these inputs to reflect your own circumstances. Actual costs depend on usage, weather, tariffs and the accuracy of the model and measurements.

Can I rely on the model for certified calculations?

recoheat.app is a modelling and decision-support tool. It is not a safety system, an energy certificate or a substitute for a heating engineer’s calculations.

How do I manage or delete my account?

Account controls remain in the existing app. Sign in to access your account options, including downloading your data and account deletion.
